The last day of our trip we drove to the Natural Bridge Caverns to explore the caves. This was pretty cool! Brecken was definitely way more into it than Emma....I was a nervous wreck part of the time that she was going to slip on the standing water, fall over the railing, and end up in some dark hole and have to be rescued.
Afterwards, we drove to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels. A word to the wise...if you think Spring Break in Texas is always hot, you may want to think again. The weather was abnormally cold for this time of year so Schlitterbahn was freezing. It didn't bother the kids at all....they were having a ball! We were supposed to spend the night there but had some people in the room next to us that totally freaked me out so we drove to Austin and spent the night at the Marriott there. I have never been so excited to be in a clean, safe hotel, free of weirdos with my precious kids.
We had a great time on Spring Break! The kids are still talking about it today and asking when they can go back to Sea World. Only next time, we'll venture out to California again to visit Uncle Michael (once he's done being famous filming Survivor!).
