LA

A few weeks ago, I headed out to LA on a business trip while Grammy and Poppy (John's parents) stayed with the kids.

I was exhausted by the time I got back...we had FULL days touring factories, eating, attending meetings, eating more, and doing a little sight seeing in between.  We saw Rodeo Drive, Muscle Beach in Venice, the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, and of course, a celebrity or two at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge.  Best of all, I got to have breakfast with my brother-in-law and his girlfriend before I flew back home on Friday.

The kids had busy weeks while I was gone!  They finished their last swimming class of the session, Brecken met his Kindergarten teacher at Meet the Teacher night, and they went to Brecken's end-of-season soccer party where he received his first medal...he was so proud of himself and I was too...all the way from LA.  In between all of that, they played, went to Camp Primrose, and saw the movie, "Planes," with their cousins.  Such a fun week...hopefully Grammy and Poppy have recovered by now!

It was a very productive trip but I was so glad to get home to my little monkey's....I missed them so much and was so thankful that John's parents were able to help out!
