Brecken's Birthday Party

We won't forget this birthday....that's for sure!  Literally 5 minutes before we were walking out the door to have Brecken's birthday party at Pump It Up, Emma burnt her hand on my curling iron.  It.Was.Awful!  The worst part about it is that I was standing right next to her and had just told her not to touch it because it was soooo hot.  How do you reason with a 3-year old?  Ughhhh...

About 10 minutes into the birthday party, Brecken's asthma started kicking in and he had a horrible coughing attack (note to self, do not EVER schedule a party at a place like this again with an asthma prone child!) and threw up everywhere.  Yep, that's right...the birthday boy pukes and my daughter is crying because of her poor hand.  What a party.  Luckily, Aunt Robin went home and brought us new clothes for Brecken and his inhaler and he was good to go!  Poor Emma on the other hand was pretty miserable.  We got a burn cream prescription for her and she was a completely different child.  After weeks of burn cream and wrapping, her hand was finally back to normal!
