I have absolutely NO idea where this month has gone! It's been a whirlwind of end of school activities and lots of new beginnings. This past week, the kids started summer camp, Brecken started soccer, and they both started a new swim school session at Emler. Talk about change! Everyone was doing great until tonight...we had meltdowns from both kids! Emma had boy drama....she did NOT want a boy teacher at swim school. Talk about a little piece of work...every time the boy teacher would try to get her to do something, she cried. Then, a girl teacher would do the exact same thing and she would do it perfectly with a big smile on her face. The drama is starting already!
Brecken is a little overwhelmed with a new school, new friends, new everything. I think that's the hardest part of being a mom...it breaks your heart to see your kiddos upset. I'm hoping that a low key weekend (besides his first soccer game!) and lots of mommy snuggles will help get him back to normal. I'll try to fill everyone in on what's been going on with our little family over the next week or so.
