Meet Layla

Well, Aunt Renee finally gave in and got the girls a puppy.  My niece, Kendall, is one of the biggest animal lovers I know...she's had two birthday parties with puppies (and other critters!) and at one point, wanted to be an animal rescuer.

That being said, meet Miss Layla Newhall....she's a little one pound ball of fluff and just the sweetest little thing.

Luckily for us, we now have two dogs in the family that we can "borrow" when the kids need their dog fix.  I've definitely been asked numerous times by Brecken and Emma when we're going to get a dog but unfortunately for them, that's not going to happen.  Our little family is good just the way it is.  Unless we're talking about an amazing man that someday wants to join our little family, that's a completely different story.  ;)
