Last weekend, I took the kids to the Circus at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. I'm not going to lie...I was a nervous wreck. Those circus people are completely crazy! I know...I'm such a mom but the stunts they were doing were unbelievable. I kept thinking how wrong things could go at any second but the kids loved it!
We went to the pre-show before the circus started so we were
able to get up close and personal with clowns, animals, and lots of carnies. The theme of the circus was "Dragons" so of course Brecken liked it!

Quote from B, "This is the best day ever!"

Quote from E to the usher, "I LOVE the circus!"

Trying on costumes...don't worry....we got extra clean in the shower that night!

This guy was crazy...I mean, can you even imagine stepping one foot in there?
The kids didn't quite understand the whole intermission concept...they kept asking if it was over. Miss Emma was getting really sleepy so we decided to get snowcones to wake them up ($14 for a snowcone sounded like a good idea at the time until it was all over the place and she was still tired!)...needless to say, they were ready to go home after that so we headed over to one of Mr. B's favorite places to eat, Texas Roadhouse (aka, the "roll" place) and had a nice family dinner. Even though we didn't see the second half of the show, it was a great day. I loved seeing the joy and excitement on their faces...it was priceless. Not to mention that it's probably a good thing we left because I don't know how much more I could have handled...I was a hot mess trying to act so cool, calm and collected for the kids and thankfully, it worked! Circus = success!
