Great Wolf Lodge

I surprised Brecken & Emma last week and took them to the Great Wolf Lodge!  I always love taking the kids there around the holidays...the decorations are so fun, there's fake snow at the Clock Tower Show, and there's Santa...and we all know who is in love with him!

An even bigger surprise....Uncle Michael got to come with us this time!  He was originally supposed to fly home to Kansas City but the airport was shut-down due to ice so he showed up in Dallas.  The kids were so excited!  It was great for me too...it's definitely easier having an extra hand at that place!  We split up some of the time when the kids wanted to do different things and we also got to do the big water slides this year.  The kids loved them but I was a nervous wreck the whole time thinking that they were going to slip out of the tube since their little feet didn't even reach the other side of it.  Not to mention my fear of heights...what a combination.  Thankfully, I survived and got to experience this multiple times throughout the day!

Merry Christmas!

The kids are already asking when they can go back.  Brecken apparently wants to live there when he grows up...we'll see how that works out in a few years.  :)

We had a great time (with the exception of Emma keeping everyone awake at bedtime!) and can't wait to go again next year!
